In a few words ...

Concerned about participating in the creation of a better world, I decided to create India Sampatti when I learned that in India the traditional weaving sector was disappearing in favor of industrial textiles.

However, in India there are no less than 136 different ways of weaving and I'm not even talking about the methods of printing and dyeing the fabric. Contributing to preserving this extraordinarily rich heritage, giving men and women the opportunity to continue working to offer the world their talents and know-how with unique, beautiful and quality products seemed to me like An evidence.

Supporting craftsmanship also means promoting ecological choices: traditional craftsmanship is also an art of living where man strives to live in harmony with the environment.

If the origin of India Sampatti comes from my love of India and its textiles, my reflection on the more global need to preserve traditional industries has allowed me to broaden my vision. India is obviously not the only country for which craftsmanship is of cultural, economic and social importance.

And because doing with your hands is a source of joy and well-being, I have also chosen to promote DIY with a series of kits and fabrics by the meter.

My Conviction is that the objects with which we surround ourselves should not only be pleasant to look at, they must be intrinsically beautiful and enrich the lives of those who acquire them by helping to create a world more respectful of people and nature.

With this store, I am committed to offering you all these treasures of craftsmanship that resist industrialization; I choose my suppliers based on the products but also and above all based on the human and eco-responsible dimension they demonstrate.

I am keen to integrate an ethical dimension into my business. For you, I am looking for beautiful products whose authenticity goes hand in hand with humanity, nature, tradition, know-how.
